Empty Darkness
I know this is the time
where I have to say goodbye.
There were the good times and the bad,
the happy and the sad.
I know that now is the end,
as we come swerving around the bend.
I scream as a light flashes,
right before the car crashes.
Surrounded by empty blackness,
and surrounded by that is just dark emptiness.
Sirens going off, car doors closing,
all i can feel is it's like times frozen.
Then comes the pain,
light floods my eyes,
I suddenly hear everybody's cries.
But it didn't last long,
just as quickly as it came, it left, and now the pain is gone.
Everything is gone, forever in the empty darkness.
