I was lost and couldn't be found,
I didn't know which path to take,
I was a mess but never made a sound,
If only they knew my life was at stake.

That all changed when He walked through the door,
He showed me that there would come a day,
When I wouldn't even know what I was crying for,
Because Our Lord, Our God, washed all the pain away.

What I know now is to never fear,
That I will ever be alone,
Because Our Lord, Our God, is always near,
And through the darkness His light shone.

My life now is amazing as can be,
My happiness is overwhelming,
His grace and mercy is showering me,
Because Our Lord, Our God, has set me free.
