Look at me, behind the mask
Look at me, and pull it off
Look at me, performing my task
When all I wish for is you.

Look at me, remaining ignorant
Look at me, put my sense away
Look at me, the performance I play
So that you will love me

Look at me, play the part
Look at me, whisper my silent love
Look at me, not into my heart
For you will find what you do not want
Look at me

The things I can't remember
Repressed like primal fear
The things I don't remember
Shed off like a solitary tear
