Close your eyes
Eyes for seeing
Seeing all
All the mistakes they’ve made
Made with good intentions
Intentions not meaning much
Much in the end
End of their life
Life fill you child
Child don’t let them knock you down
Down to the dirt
Dirt to be for mud pies
Pies for you to play
Play away your days
Days meant for happiness
Happiness to open your eyes
Eyes for seeing all
All of the love for you.
