Space is the home of the moon
Shining up there like a big balloon,
Space is also the home of the sun,
Going up there would be awfully fun,
Space also holds all those stars,
Gosh, space must way more than one million cars!
And don’t forget the milkyway,
Wow I must go to space today!
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, BLAST –OFF!
But alas it was delayed I’ve got a cough,
Now that I am feeling better,
I pack some biscuts and a letter,
And it said:
Dearest pet,
Nana’s coming to dinner tonight,
So come home early from your flight,
When we blasted off into space,
You should have seen the look on my face,
We raced past Jupiter , Saturn, Mars,
Pluto, Neptune and 30 thousand stars,
But just as I was having fun,
We started to crash course towards the sun,
Wait here comes a U.F.O,
But is it really friend or foe,
Thank God! It’s rescuing me,
But wait is it a he or a she?
