I wish; The Sea

I wish I lived near the sea, but the muddy water is enough for me.
I wish I could sail away, on a ship for days. Drop anchor for a lengthy stay.
I wish I could always feel the sand. This river shore is enough land.
I wish I could see the vast ocean, endless, wide.
This river is okay, I can see the other side.
Here, I know that it's a smaller goal, I can get to that side, I can accomplish it.
The ocean is much too large for a soul like mine, so the river here,
well it's just fine.
