"You're only given one little spark of madness; you mustn't lose it."

There was a day
When dark clouds stormed overcast
With the assertive sea.
A girl was wandering along,
Taking in every mysterious piece of the puzzle.
I remembered hearing only the delicate song
Of waves clapping against a tower of rocks
And rain beginning to descend slowly.
Time stopped.
The cool droplets came slowly
Taunting the present.
I saw the girl
As she slowly crept to the shore
With her head hung low
And her shoulders hunched.
She wore a dull gray dress
With her wavy hair golden with sunlight.
The wind came and whispered to her
As she began to sing.
The notes flowed out of her
With something glowing.
I remember watching her
As she edged closer to the shoreline and
Water sprayed softly across the translucent sea.
She edged closer,
The world taking shape around her.
I watched closely as the girl picked up the tail of her dress
And crystals floated in the water
With her wadding forward.
I leaned over the withered wooden railing
And tried to put together what the girl was doing.
There were only a few slow,
Delicate
Moments before she vanished into the sea.
She was slyly slithering through the wailing waters.
Then,
She evaporated with her mystical song being carried by the wind
As it fell
And rose
And disintegrated into the horizon.
