Wouldn't it be nice,
if sand castles built themselves?
Wouldn't it be nice,
if books placed themselves upon the shelf?

If sculptures designed and built themselves,
but you got all the credit?
If school was so much easier,
people wouldn't dread it.

If scientists could find,
the perfect cure for cancer?
If little girls' dreams came true,
or being a ballerina dancer?

If poems wrote themselves,
just flowing from the mind?
Monsters! Demands! Evil things!
If little girls knew nothing of that kind?

If no one knew the meaning of anger?
If no one knew the meaning of war?
If all the bad people in life
disappeared for ever more?

And if all advice,
was great advice?
No. It will never happen.
But wouldn't it be nice?
