her silent screams
go unheard
her flowing tears
glisten like diamonds
on her innocent face
the sky above
seems tainted grey
and the earth below
buries her deep in the ground
too far in, she cries out
one last time
before the darkness
swallows her up

This is meant to be a sad, simple, honest poem, which is why it's all lowercase and has no punctuation.
