Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet,
And so are you,
But the roses are wilting,
And the violets are dead,
Laughs have been had,
And tears have been shed,
You still look so angelic,
As I lay and bled,
And soon like the violets,
I too shall be dead.
