Favorite Quote:
I always wonder why birds choose to stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth, then I ask myself the same question.
-Harun Yahya

All my life I've looked at words as though I were seeing them for the first time.
-Ernest Hemingway

He kissed her softly on the cheek,
In the middle of the silent woods, surrounded by autumn leaves
And grasped her cold hand tightly in his
Telling her that her would never leave
Her side even if things went wrong. But
that was a promise that he couldn’t ever keep
to her. She knew everything would come to an end.
She built a wall around her heart,
hoping to never let him in, but he broke through it,
and she began to believe everything he said
not questioning his actions or words.
She fell for him hard, and he did the same, but
he quietly faded away. November, has
stolen away his heart, she was left broken
at the end of the month wondering,
why did this happen to her?

The author's comments:
This describes my first relationship in high school with an older boy who I really liked and trusted. I had strong feelings for him and was young and naive and this was my way of coping with the break up. Maybe some one who is going through a similar situation can relate and find strength to get over the person that hurt them through this poem.
