Your seemingly innocent brown eyes
pierced my heart without my knowing.
Your lying perfect spirit
made me open up with feelings I’d never experienced.
You.
Your lips,
bittersweet as you touched my mouth.
Perfection, poise, bliss.
Then it was gone.
His beautiful face became an illusion
that disappeared within the few moments we’d kept secret.
The only thing he left behind was
the stinging sensation on my lips,
and a broken heart barely beating inside my chest.
