Rebelling the Conformity
Oil pastilles have blurred...
the pictures of our windowpane
We're the only ones that matter in this compartment of our train
Leaving the urban skyline that we met everyday
The train is running faster, metallic breath now louder and so,
We
Get
Away.
My dreams and I escaping the confinement and the fears,
The fresher air drying the notebook that had been smeared with so many tears
That would tip so smoothly into that morning cup of tea,
That would run invisibly so that only the mirror could see.
Two roads diverted in a path
and I thank God I could not travel both.
