Forgetting

Before you were my everything,
now i don't know what you are.
After weeks of being unable to eliminate you from my mind.
I fel the way you used to but never will again.
You enjoy my hearts suffering as i once did yours.
But slowly i am forgetting you.
Every day without an answer is just another day i forget.
I will not repeat my mistake of running back.
I am no where near a damzel in distress,
you are far from my night in shining armor.
All i want is to forget you.....
please don't remind me of what i was dumb enough to want,
but smart enough to leave.
