I'll hold your hand, I'll light the way
but just until the break of day
and then my love I have to go
I'll say goodbye by mornings' glow
I'll kiss your lips at suns' first ray
If you just keep your tears at bay
follow the path and you won't stray
when darkness falls we'll say hello
I'll hold your hand
And on my chest your head will lay
while all around us shadows play
your fears my love I won't let grow
so close your eyes because you know
that as you sleep I'll always stay
I'll hold your hand
