Favorite Quote:
"I was taught that a successful life was a happy one. When my teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I told her I wanted to be happy. She said I didn't understand the question. I said she didn't understand life."

My mind is just lines
Entwined in itself
Childlike
A ball of light blue yarn

My mind is just time
Silently tocking
Flying by
The rhythm of its hands

My mind is just fine
Smiling back at you
Delighted
In the pure joy of life

The piece is almost entirely metaphorical. It's describing how simple enjoying life can be by comparing it to everyday things. I was inspired to write this piece after reviewing some forgotten pictures in the memory of my camera. The images brought back so many great memories I started to think about what makes a moment joyful. That is when I realized that a joyful moment does not need more than just a joyful state of mind.
