Be youself: "Never forget what you are because surly the world will not. MAKE it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness.Armour yourself in it. then will never be used to hurt you."-George R. R. Martim

Dressed in black as dark as the night.
I walk through a dark hallway.
I come to a room filled with chairs and people crying.
I see a coffin with a woman in it.
I touch her hand then a tear runs down my cheek.
I sit down its starts then it ends.
i walk up to the coffin again.
then another tear runs down my cheek.
Suddenly everything stops.
It was just me and her.
She had died and i finally realized.

What inspired me was my great grandmothers death. It took me while to process it.But then reality just hit me.

i hope when people read this they will feel every emotion the same way i did. just not as strong.

"Why rather, sleep, liest thou in smoky cribs
...
Than in the perfumed chambers of the great,
Under the canopies of costly state,
And lulled with sound of sweetest melody?" By William Shakespeare

I liked it, I can relate to what you want to write because I sometimes write about death too. Sometimes it can be helpfull to add more intense words and make the poem come to life. Sorry if you don't want advice and i'm sorry about your Grandma
