Snowflakes are resting on the ground
Red sleighs with children hustle to reach the bottom of the hill
Frosty the Snowman is coming back to life
The whole town is a bursting bowl of excitement
Aromas of gingerbread are lingering in homes
School buses and snow plows are pushing
Against the force that is Mother Nature
Trees are standing outside with lonely branches
A soft white blanket is covering the ground
The sky is crying frozen tears
But then the sky stops weeping
