Painful memories
Are like when frost covers trees
Or when a ship begins to sail
Without a clue of where
They seek to be or who is leading
Or when a friend is deceiving
Those who always love her so
But did they really? Did they so?
Misunderstood in a world of hate
It takes more than a glance to appreciate
The wonders of life
And hard work and strife
To support friends or family
Sometimes I wonder what's to be
Questions remain unanswered
And too often people waver undecidedly
Am I loved?
But how, with all these bad cars I'm dealt
I pray for help
Do you know how I felt?
Painful memories
