An alias
And identity,
That is limited
Only by the imagination,
Creativity,
Diversity
Of he who chose it.

The pen name,
Le nom de plume,
The assigner,
And positioner,
That decides the shelf-mates,
Of your works and pieces,
In a library
Or bookstore,
Amongst other authors
And artists.

A ’s pen name
Is their tether
Their tie
That keeps them
Connected
Anchored
To the world of writing
Because it is their work
That shall be read
