Abandoned tree and its discarded leaf
Winding tossing fallen in the labyrinth
Rainless cascade and sunlit twilight
Less chance of escape, lesser hope of life.
Rushes of wind came and gone by
But none could make it happen to fly
Till that day when it was losing its faith
It caught a sparrow buzzing some tale
The story of leaf was then recalled
Instead of gliding, how could it fall?!!
He sang of rebound when there was decline
Seasoning sanity in the hallucinated mind
Aided the captive flee from dusky maze
Lighting its ambiance with a brand new glaze.

'The Alchemist' said it right.. even strangers can play important role in our life.. I wrote this for someone who entered my story for a few minutes and left footprints as a mark of presence.
