Love is like quicksand the further you fall the harder it is to get out

Slipping hand and hand,
Losing grip with everything thats happened,
Love is suppose to save us;
So this isnt love then?
I want to prove myself to you,
wondering only what i have to do,
To get you to love me.
I try so hard to be the best;
For you,
Why cant you see it?
If i shout it all out to you,
Whould you walk away,
Would you understand;
How much this means to me.
I want so badly to be your only.
Darkend seacrets;
Ment for what?
I'll never forget how badly i need you here.
Much you promised me,
Ment for happiness,
Causing only tears.
I'll always remember;
The day i fell in love with you,
And the day we trough it all away,
Not even looking back.

They say that love hurts...but it isnt true. Love shouldnt hurt us. Love is patient and kind and gives us that warm and fuzzy feeling. What the heck are people doing today??? They seem to label "love" on garbage bags pretending to be legitament. But its not. I love your poem. And I look forward to many more.
