Hand in Hand
We stand here hand in hand, heads held high,
We stare gazing up at the sky.
The night is dark, but the sky is bright,
Lit be the feint moon light.?
We stand here hand in hand, heads bent low,
They see our eyes, no more will they glow,
The night is dark, but the sky is bright,
Lit by the old white light.?
We walk now hand in hand,
Through the gates, into a new land.
The night was dark, but now it’s bright,
The day is calm, there’s no more fight.?
We sit now, your face in my hands,
We worry no more, In these strange lands,
I wipe the tears away,
and say, “It’s okay”?
I take her face once more,
her cheeks that soft pink color,
we hear the soft ocean hiss,
Once more shall we kiss.
