Favorite Quote:
"Nothing gold can stay" -Robert Frost

winter came one by one,

falling quietly down,
dusting chimney tops
white instead of brown,

blanketing bare limbs
with intricate designs,
arriving unnoticed
along the county lines,

frost snuggled itself
into the soft ground,
turning it hard and cold
without so much as a sound

homes were smothered in
the safety of warmth,
their masters protected
from the invasion of the north
