up high

I look up high,
my head towards the sky.
Do you really exist up there
or is it all just air?
Were you the one who scared
the monsters at night?
The one who stopped me from feeling fright?
The one how held me close
when I needed it the most?
The one who made me feel loved
even when your up above,
but it's time to let go.
It's the only way I can grow
so, I turn my head to the sky,
and tell you my last goodbye.
