Favorite Quote:
They dropped like flakes, they dropped like stars,
Like petals from a rose,
When suddenly across the june
A wind with fingers goes.
- Emily Dickinson

Do you not realize that when I see your name, my eyes light up and my mouth unwillingly curves to a perfect smile, a smile that can only be conjured by the likes of you? And oh, how they see, how the poor bystanders see, that this smile doesn’t fade, not while you’re there. And how your touch sends fire through my skin, seeping into my bones, my very heart, but the fire does not hurt, not as much as should.

But there you are, oblivious as to what was going on deep inside. Oh, you had your suspicions, fed by the rambling words of the lost, but they were cast down by the lies of my lips. How I wish I could let you know, being sure you felt it too, but I’m not. Nothing will be as it should. Imperfections continue to thrive, but they are easy to look beyond. Nothing is right, but nothing is very wrong.
