"Floating In Space"

July 2, 2012
Like a fish out of water,
Like a teenager without internet,
Like a wallet with no money,
Like the world without people,
I'm flopping around,
I'm sitting around,
I'm useless,
Floating in space.

They say,
A watched pot never boils,
But if you watch it long enough,
You'll see.
If you can't see it,
You'll feel it.
You'll feel the steam,
Feel the heat,
Feel the water doing everything it can to
Fight the heat that rises under it.

But eventually,
You'll see the bubbles,
Like the heat rising to victory,
Allowing you to pour in the sweetest gold medal,
And soon enough,
It will share its prize with you.
The sweetest prize in the world.

So,
Like a fish out of watr,
Like a teenager without internet,
Like a wallet with no money,
Like the world without people,
I'm flopping around.
I'm sittimng around.
I'm useless.

I'm no longer floating in space.
