the grass
And we sat around pondering our future
Not realizing the insanity of it all that
A promise of a life seals worries not problems
So we lived our lives smudging the lines of our blueprints
We buried them in the attics of our minds
Dusting them of on occasion to revel in their warmth
We know life was much better lived but still cant help
But crave the untainted beauty of those lives
we thought we’d live or the people we dreamed to be
because even joyous slices of life comes hard, and dreams always come free
