Mirrors
Mirrors
 Always glaring at you
 Watching with jeering eyes
 Every breath you take
 It takes with you
 Following with judgment
Looking at the life you knew
 Seeing the fragments
Of your life surround your spirit
 Shattering in front of you
A million little shards of crystal
 Beating down on your soul
When it used to be whole
 Emptiness
Hurts as you look at the shell of the person you once knew
Seeing the reflection of doubt and despair
 Flying freely eating you alive
 Attacking like sharks on prey
 Damaging and hurting you
 Until there’s nothing left
 But,
Determined to beat this mirror’s mockery
 You fight
 Smiling
 White teeth shimmer with happiness
Reflecting the sunlight off your face
 The warmth soothes you
 It grasps your very core
 Engulfing the bad memories
 And The Mirror
Now watching and looking out for you
You fall; it picks you back up
 Always there helping you
 Guiding
 Caring
 Loving
 Never giving up

I liked how descriptive the emotions in this poem were, when you were talking about the pain ypu see in the mirror, i could really feel every inkling of pain. I really liked that you decided to look past it and see the broghter side of things.
You are very talented at writing poetry, keep writing!
