Geometry and shapes, geometry and shapes.
The simple logic of the equation,
was the math of Picasso's creation.
The building blocks of his mind,
the color wheel he couldn't find.
He looked for meaning in art and absence,
but instead bathed his thoughts in absinthe.

The author's comments:
This was part of my creative writing course that I'm taking. Basically, we got fifteen minutes to draw a piece of abstract poetry, and everybody else in the room had to go around and write a single word on what it reminds them of. I got a common theme of geometry, math, shapes, and Picasso, so here it is.
