Favorite Quote:
Everybody's youth is a dream, a form of chemical madness.

Melancholic dissipation

Draws a breath. Slow, lingering.

Breathe

Weapons of the heart

Fight weapons of society

By which do we suffer the most ?

Red flows of the flesh

Slithering on broken pavements

Lives brushed away

In the midst of the thunderstorm.

The author's comments:
War was the main inspiration for this poem. Soldiers' emotions mingling honor, fear, hate, patriotism, and finally abandonment to their heart-shattering task.
