Dark Flames

Encased in darkness,
is what happened to me.
Falling forever down
through the nothingness I see.
Eyes opening, flames bursting.
That's it, I think, I'm doomed;
forever consumed by the fire,
which licks my skin, as i fall
deeper, closer to the core.
