its the last race of the day
first runner steps to the starting line, baton in hand, we hear the gun fire as the first runner takes off around the track the second runner steps to the hand off position grabs the baton and starts around the track. i step to the hand off position hands shaking heart pounding. i grab the baton and start off around the track. i round the last corner and i hear all my team mates yelling "finish strong, finish strong" i hand the baton to the last runner. out of breath and in pain, i think to myself, i did it, i finished strong.
