Too hot to do anything

I thought to my self I would buy an ice cream
but just pop a ice cube in my mouth
I thought maybe I would make a pitcher of lemonade
but just drank a class of water
it's too hot to do anything
thought I put in a movie
but just watched the news
it's too hot to do anything
maybe I will jump in the pool
but I just ran a cold shower
thought I take a walk
but just took a nap
