School is a wonderful place
To be at
If you don’t mind
Having no choices
And teachers talking in mono-tone voices
Having a pile of homework every night
And being thrown into every fight
Where they say you can speak freely
But get sent to the office just as easily

School is a wonderful place to be
If you don’t mind
Sharing your boyfriend or girlfriend
As you just try to blend
Where you are picked on for being yourself
And judged by your wealth
Having temptation everyday
And spend your time wasting away.

School is a wonderful place
If you don’t mind
Teachers expecting more
And coming to class starts to feel like a chore
Where drama is a language that is international
And no one is capable of acting rational
Having
a group of friends one day
And then getting them taken away

School is wonderful
But then you get to college and realize what school should really be.
