Afraid to shine



Regardless of words said

I can't do it.

I can't do it.

Don't make me do it.

The wind picks up

Now is my chance

To spread my wings

Take flight

Soar above the world

Leaving all my problems behind

To dissapear below me

And vanish forever.

Swallowing my pride

I jump

I soar

I am free

Floating above all the hate

All the lies

All those goodbyes

I've found myself

After all these years

I am free

I am flying.
