My Own Hero

I walk through my day like you were never a part of it,
I walk right past you like you were nothing,
I remain strong when you catch me being weak,
I remain brave when you scare me the most,
I don't expect to be saved by a knight,
I am my own hero,
I pull myself from the darkness,
I save myself,
I save myself from you.
