It’s that time of the year again
June is here once more
Warm weather is here
School is coming to an end

The kids are making plans to hang
And the teachers are packing up
The last lessons are being taught
And final exams are being taken

Finally the last day is here
The kids and teachers have been waiting for
The last bell has rung and summer is here
The kids are free to wander off

The kids are having fun hanging out
Swimming, having fires, or just relaxing,
Sharing memories with friends from the past year
Summer will go and a new year will start once again.
