Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you'll land among the stars.

In the darkness of the room there is nothing to distract me from myself and who I have become and what I could have been. But a shadow stirs a light of hope that I can that I can be rescued from myself, that I can become who I desire to be. But that same shadow that gives me hope may also condemn me. For given the choice I will not endure myself any longer, for I will now take my life into my own hands, and change my chosen destiny. By then if my soul has not fled, then he who could save me can have me.

This poem is about self dread. It's about escaping society and becomin your own person. It's about finding that one thing that will bring you happy and that one person who will always save you. I wrote this because I was going through a period of self hate but after I wrote this I felt free like I could do anything. I want people to know that others feel that way to.
