You Are Explosive
Running through fields
dodging bullets along the way
a fallen solider left behind
crying in the distance
I sprint to my hideout
but my cover was blown
he knows everything about me
how do i hide from that?
i promise myself i will never be like him
right before the storm explodes over me
he leaves nothing on the table
repeating over and over words that stab into my heart like knifes
and when the storm passes
who am i kidding
the storm will never pass
its not just a little storm that passes through once a month
it is a thundering cloud with lighting and hail
and it lives
and breathes
everyday
