Ocean Eyes
He was the room
shaking after the storm;
the boom before the fire.
He was the kind of person
that make you realize
how much you hate yourself,
how much you can't decide between yes and no.
He was the collisions between continents;
pangea rearranging in seconds.
He was wires and cables and copper,
tying millions of miles together;
tying the world to their computers.
He was what made you want to inhale
all seven bodies of water;
what makes you want your veins to expand
what makes you want your lungs to explode.
A mistake you'll never regret,
he was what made you want to say "yes"
to a world full of "no".
