Questions
How can I say things that I'm not feeling?
How can I pray to a lord that I don't believe in?
Why must I lie, who am I protecting?
You say be brave, big girls don't cry.
But since when is that not a lie?
Who am I protecting?
I can't spend forever pretending to laugh.
I think I'm drowning in all the lies.
It's impossible to float when they weigh me down.
All the burdens, you tell me it's my cross to bear.
But even Jesus died eventually.
I need you to guide me.
Without you, who will?
