Circling
Around and around
No escape
Glass closes me in
Tempting me with glimpses of the outside world
Compressing the back of my throat
Dry and heavy
Closing imminently
The familiar feeling from deep inside
Returns to torture my soul
Frantic angst bubbles from below
Suffocating my insides
Fighting against the flow of a waterfall
The levies break
Cool water trickles slowly
Momentum builds
The water surges
Pain
Then finally
