The summer time is just so very much fun
The sun up in the sky is so bright
You get to go outside to play and run
The light from the sky is at its most height

All the grass is green, as pretty as can be
We go outside, in bright light, every day
Flowers and green leaves are all that you see
We see our friends and we always say "Hey"

The pool is definitely where we all go
We pick up a pizza and grab a slice
Swimming and reading is all that we do
Laying in the long cool grass is so nice

Everyday, all the time, in the heat we lay
And it is such a very beautiful day
