Lost Love Letters
The full moon kissed the edge of the horizon,
 An indestructible love.

 1942

 The pearl has fallen,
 The light grew fainter.
The shades of the world, down,
Mocking the blackness of swayed shoes.
 The feeling of indestructible is
 A letter signed
 Love always,
 The letter, forgotten years ago.

 1942

Years ago the world was happy.
When the world weighed less, as if
  Running in slippers.
Searching in the dark is harder when your feet
 Are paved with concrete.

 1942

 I have a few questions
But my mind is a mailed letter signed
 Always
 With
 Lost Love.
 I forgot the last time
The full moon kissed the edge of the horizon,
 A foreign thought growing
 Faint.
