A good bye
Brown skin, long black hair, dark brown eyes
That’s the woman I love.
As I lay on her chest
I feel safe, I know she won’t let no one hurt me.
She grabs me she kisses me goodbye
My heart warms up, my eyes start to tear up
I don’t want her to leave,
I want her next to me.
I hold on her tight as she puts me down
She tells me, “mommy needs to leave.”
She grabs my head and kisses me on my forehead.
Says, “be good today baby.”
I run to the window to
Wave and tears start to come down.
I whisper, “I will mommy.”
