"Don't be sad it's over, be glad it ever happened." -Dr. Suess

It was once a blank canvas,
Now full of color.

Full of deep meaning,
Not just a cover.

Not just scribbles,
For fun or for play.

But a message to the world,
To see every day.

It may last a lifetime,
For generations to see.

A lifelong indentation,
On a building that should be.

I wrote this last year in Language Arts for a "Graffiti" unit in class, we were to write our feeling about it's artistic side in a poem.
