That Day
On that day I lost more than I could have thought
It hit me and the whole world stopped
All the memoiries flooded my brain
They brought some happiness but it was much more pain
People talked of the future but I couldnt even think of tomorrow
My heart hurt so bad as if it was hit by an arrow
My stomach hurt and it stayed dropped
My mind was so completely flopped
If I heard of that past event before
I would've brushed it off like it was something to ignore
No one ever had the time to prepare
Of that day that left so much despair
The pain will stay with me, the hurt, the loss.
The world lost a person so they put up a cross
But I what I lost I can't fully apprehend
What I lost was my bestfriend.........
