I loved you from the very first day
its a kind of love
that never goes away
I try to stay close
be a part of your life
But you push me away,
Your words like a knife.
I pretend I dont care
truth is its killing me.
I know deep down
you've got to care
why else would you comfort me
everytime I weep.
Funny thing is
those tears are for you.
