What is normal?
Is it how everyone acts?
Is it never to fall?
Or to never react?
In the world today
So rigid with rules
Never led astray
And treated like fools
But we keep striving
Toward greener grass
We still keep surviving
Treading on broken glass

I wrote this piece because I'm constantly plagued with the thought that I'm just a speck in the world; a blandly normal person. And how society tries their best to keep us blandly normal and doesn't embrace our differences.
